Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria, a position he has held since May 2019. An astute administrator and seasoned public servant, Sanwo-Olu’s political journey is deeply rooted in Lagos State governance.

Before ascending to the governorship, he garnered extensive experience across various pivotal portfolios within the state cabinet. He served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions, and Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget.
